The meetings are held to provide teachers with the opportunity to communicate directly with the parents of their students. The goals of the meeting include telling about the daily routine, class procedures, homework and discipline policies and what parents can do this school year to help their children have a successful year.
Because we know we have many families with children in multiple grade levels, we have split our orientations into two nights. Both nights are from 6:00-7:30.
Wednesday, August 31 – Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades Parent Orientation
Wednesday, September 7 – 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades Parent Orientation
Two back to back sessions will be hosted by each teacher each night for parents of multiple students.
This parent orientation is truly for our parents and not for our students. Ideally, we hope you would be able to come without your children. However, the most important thing is that you come. If you need to bring your students, that is fine. Please do bring something that will keep them occupied so that you can focus on the teacher.
